U.S. Facing Moral Bankruptcy, leaders convene
A special government meeting was convened recently involving the moral leaders of the country and all the branches of the government. Experts claim the country is facing complete moral bankruptcy and may descend completely into "somekind of hedonistic anarchy". A recent study at MIT revealed that by 2025 morals may no longer exist. One spiritual leader urged the government to take action and support the various spiritual institutions of the country. One political representative from Texas remarked "We deported Mr. Morales along time ago". An outburst of laughter could be heard among a group of kindergardners who happened to attend the meeting in Washington D.C.. A recently indicted mayor from New Jersey sobered the crowd saying "actually the spiritual institutions have to set an example for us."
Many experts say the decline in morals is actually an international security concern. Recent efforts by intelligence agencies have been directed at capturing the Devil and putting him on trial. However they have been unsuccessful in even locating him. One security representative chose to speak out "weve heard rumors of the Devil and his shadowy organization working on a volcanic island near the equator" A panel of University professors grilled the spiritual leaders of the country with questons, but the responses seemed contradictory and often times trivial. Answers varied from banning birth control to boycotting cool aid.
Many professors and experts looked confused as government officials looked to them for a "spiritual bail out plan." "How can you give someone spirituality? Just give out free big screen TV's " one expert angrily yelled. Samagupta a professor at a leading community college said "if we increase math proficiency we wont even have to worry about morals."
The decline in morals and the longstanding spiritual crisis of the country is deeply disturbing to many Americans. The loss of moral guidance has caused a dominoe effect undermining almost every aspect of society and it is predicted to only get worse before it gets better. We can only hope that somewhere somehow people are working together to rebuild the world on a solid foundation of spiritual priniciples.
